They fell and it was HARD! The Harder They Fall (2021) stars Jonathan Majors and Idris Elba with top notch performances from RJ Cyler, LaKeith Stanfield, Edi Gathegi, Regina King, and Danielle Deadwyler. Zazie Beetz also existed in this film but was outperformed by her A+ co-stars. With an overly generous runtime and hot mess of a screenplay not even Regina could save this tragedy. In this episode Mantis and Brianna discuss, Dopeflix’s sandwich draft, Brianna thirsts over LaKeith Stanfield (again), and Mantis thirsts over Boaz Yakin. Dust off the ol’ cowboy hat, warm up those vocal chords, and carve that cross into your forehead because someone’s got daddy issues!
