Well Candyman (2021) may not be the bee knee’s but she is still quite the looker. An impressive showing from Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as the main protagonist makes the film worth a watch. The script truly takes the cake and in a close second is the remarkable visuals director Nia DaCosta offers. In this episode Mantis and Brianna discuss technical difficulties, Brianna mentions that Candyman scares her, and Mantis explains the appropriate times to view St. Patrick’s day movies. Slip into your beekeeper suit, head to the rowhouses, and polish your hooks because the Candyman is coming and he’s wringing heads and snapping ankles.
